Can I do MA in Journalism after B.Sc Chemistry?


I have completed my B.Sc Chemistry and wants to change stream for my Master. I want to switch to Journalism. Therefore, is it possible to study MA in Journalism? Am I eligible? Is there any entrance for MA Journalism?

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in M.A Journalism course.

The common eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline.

So, you are eligible to get admission . The admission procedure varies with institute.

Candidates passed bachelor degree in any disciplone are eligible to get admission in master in journalism course.


The common eligibility to get admission is that candidate must have passed bacheloe degree from a recognised university.

The admission prpcedure varies with institute. So, kindly visit official website for detail information.

The eligibility criteria for Master of Arts in Journalism course:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree in journalism or mass communication from a recognized university. Minimum of 50% marks in board exam is required.

2. Bachelor of Science in Chemistry candidates can not apply for Master of Arts in Journalism course.

Some top university conducts Master of Arts in Journalism course.

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any stream.

The minimum required aggregate is 50% ( varies with institute ).

The academic qualification required to pursue Master of Arts in Journalism course is bachelor's degree in Journalism course with minimum of 50% marks. Without pursuing bachelor's degree in Journalism, you cannot do master's degree in this course.

You are not eligible for Master of Arts in Journalism after Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
