Sir i didn't qualified the GATE exam, but I am very much interested to do M.tech from BITS. Please let me know when is the entrance exam and the procedure to get into M.tech from your college. And when will the application forms are available??

BITS is one of the premium and instiute of National Level,and for persuing M.E.from there you have Qualify GATE with at least 85% and with good AIR.

However,if you dont qualified GATE there is nothing to worry.

BITS also conducts its own entrance for admission to its M.E. programs.You have to qualify an Online entrance test of BITS.Notification for whic has been released and registration is started.Last date for Reciept of application is 30 may 2010.

So hurry up. Visit it's official site for registering and more details.

you can't do mtech from the bits if you have not cleared exam of gate because gate exm is necessary for mtech.....

dear friend as you didnot qualify GATE exam, so it is very difficult to get admission in BITs, But in different private college there are some seats for management/NRI quotas. You can go through these quotas, so kindly meet with admission authority of that institute.

it is very unfortunate that you cannot do M.Tech from BITS pilani or BITS goa as you have neither qualified for GATE exam and nor the exam by BITS.

There are two ways of doing m.tech:
1.through gate score
2.by your own sponsorship.
Since gate makes you eligible for scholarships,its option is complete in govt. colleges.
But,in BITS they have taken GATE as a way of selecting.
You will not get any grants.

bits for its 3 branches at pilani,goa & hyderabad opens application for its undergraduate courses in november.
it is online exam in the month of may
you can apply for mtech there.

You have to wait for the entrance exam and for the exam you should apply through application for the exam you should prepare well then only you can get good mark in gate.

yes , you can do Mtech from BITs if you didn't qualify GATE exam.

as BITs also organise an own entrance test.

so you can appear those exam. and through that exam you can join in BITS.

yes you can do Mtech from BITs by getting good marks in your btech exam...............
BITs will taken mtech student from gate ..............................
if you are not qualified in gate exam then you will fill up the BITs mtech form........................if your btech marks will crossed cut off marks then you will get admission in BITs for mtech degree.................

the admission in the bits ,pilani for the m.tech course is done through the two exams,

first gate exams.

and second the exams conducted by the BITS.

there is some sheets researved for the gate qualified students,

and rest for its own exams,

GATE is a must for doing M.tech in any college at national level...good luck...you can always check for updates in their official site...who knows they might pop up with new entrance ways...

GATE exam qualification is a must For doing M.tech any good college...So you need to qualify...dont worry you have unlimited number of attempts to clear GATE...so study hard untill you suceed..
