Irrespective of the percentage of marks and the grade that you secure in your 10th class, you are not eligible to fill the form for NDA Exam.
Because, the minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can appear for NDA Exam is by completion of 12th class. The candidates will be placed in any of the following Defence wings by cracking this exam -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing The complete selection procedure that the candidate need to crack is by -Written Exam -Interview -Medical Test Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidate to take this exam. -One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing -One should have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class to be eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force wings. Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to apply for this exam. One should possess an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. Re: Can I fill the NDA exam after completion of 10th class board exam?
Hi
NDA is the acronym for the National Defense Academy. It is basically an All India Entrance Exam which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year to select candidates for the various wings of the Indian Defense of Army, Navy and Air Force. But if anybody wishes to sit for the NDA, then he has to fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria's as :- 1. You should be an Unmarried Male Indian Citizen 2. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India. No minimum percentage is required, but you should be pass in all the respective subjects. 3. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying. 4. If you wish to apply for the Indian Air Force or Navy then you should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your 10+2. 5. Physical fitness is also something which is required. No PD candidates can apply. So anybody who wishes to apply for the NDA should fulfill these. But as you ask, that if after 10th Class you can apply or not, I am really sorry you are not yet eligible to do so. Once you pass class 12th then only you can apply for the NDA exam. If you want more information, Please Click Here Hope this helps All the best |
