Sir,i want to know dat will i get admission in engineering college(B.E) having 12th passed cetificate from nios,and actually am thinking of joining nios after 4 yrs gap since passing class 10'..so will it create a problem in getting admission?

i think you will be eligible for taking admission in engineering even you do 12th from National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS). student who passed 12th from open school are also eligible for engineering entrance examination.

but with the educational qualification you have to fulfill the age eligibility criterion also to appear in engineering entrance examination. if there is gap of 4 years after 10th then i think you will not be able to fulfill the age eligibility criterion. if you are from reserved category then you may fulfill the eligibility criterion. just calculate your age when you will appear in engineering entrance examination and from the various engineering entrance examination notification try to find out at that time you will eligible for these engineering entrance examination or not. then you will get a clear idea about your eligibility.

Yes, You r eligible for engineering entrance. But you have to show your age eligibility. If you belongs to reserved category then you may hv the eligibility.

There is no problem in joining any college of Engineering as you will get admission in it too after 2 years gap after your 12th passing year but the thing which will come in your way will be their age criteria,if you belong to a reserved category it will help you at a great cost by getting admission in engineering without a issue.

The eligibility criteria for joining an engineering college is
1) Pass 12 standard with physics , chemistry and math as main subject
2) Pass 12 standard with 50%
3) Pass the entrance exam conducted
Yes you are eligible for the course if you qualify all the above criteria , the gap after your 10 standard does not matter until you have a valid gap certificate
