Yes you can get admission in IIT.

You have to appear in Entrance exam that is JEE that is conducted every year for the admission of various students in Engineering Colleges.

Eligibility criteria:

Age is 17-25 years.
Minimum qualification required is 12th with Physics, chemistry, maths and English or equivalent examination.

Sorry, you are not eligible to get the admission in the IIT after pursuing the polytechnic after the 10th.

To get the admission in the first IIT you have to qualify in the JEE examination conducted every year in the two stages. The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have the PCM as main paper in the 10+2 board examination.

Sorry, you are not eligible to get the admission in the Indian Institute of Technology being the diploma candidate.

Since the required eligibility to join the IIT is candidates must have qualify in the JEE examination. The eligibility to appear for the JEE examination is:-
* Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or appearing from the recognised board.
* Candidates must have PCM as main subject in the board examination.

So, you cannot appear for the examination to pursue the B.tech course but you can pursue the course from the other state government institute through the LEET examination
