Sir, I have completed Diploma in Computer Engineering program. I want to go for the Civil Engineering in BTech. I just want to know that I can get lateral entry or not for this BTech program?

Candidates passed diploma in civil are not eligible to get admission in computer engineering.

So, you are not eligible to change the stream through lateral entry.

When you had done diploma in Civil engineering then you can do only civil engineering in graduation (B.Tech course) only not any other via lateral entry.
If you are interested to do computer science then diploma degree wont count.you need to pursue this B.Tech for 4 years.
