i wouls like to know what is the procudure to get register for upsc exam and what is it's syllabus. How to write exam on line?

dear komal,
the registration procedure for upsc exams are very simple .
the upsc application forms are avilable in any main post office of the area for 20 rupees.buy it and follow the guidelines.
regarding syllabus please mention which upsc exam are you talking about.

so i will suggest you to visit-www.upsc.gov.in

upsc do not conduct any online exam.

you will get the application form from any post office at the cost of 20 rupees.
you will have to fill it and paste a ticket of rs.6 on acknowledge card and then post it.
then you will have to undergo a prelim exam and if you clear that then you will have to give mains followed by group discussion and interview.

but you can register for all the exams conducted by UPSC on its official website....www.upsc.gov.in
there is separate column for all exams on the website ....it has clear instructions for registering for different exams.....

Regarding the online exams like CAT, there is no provision for UPSC online exams till now..

the notification of upsc exam is out,the last date for applying is 1-2-2010,please see the employment news dated 1-2-2010 for more information and there is no online exam

the upsc exam is not online exam it is an offline exam.
the form will be available in the GPO.however you can apply online and its websites is

UPSC forms can be downloaded online but all the upsc exams are conducted offline and the syllabus is diffferent for all the exams which comes under UPSC but gk and english and elementary maths is common for some exams under UPSC. for more details about UPSC exams do write to me best of luck and take care byeee..

UPSC exams could not be given online,you have to obtain an OMR for fron Post office with either PREGEN or PRERES series and then you can fill and send ,after that you will recieve an admit card

hello ..? for giving upsc exam u needs to have graduation degree or in final year and u must have to purchase the form the post office and send to upsc office and there is no online acceptance of form and exam?

For kind Information, UPSC form is not Rs.20. The cost is Rs.50. It is made available in all HPO's and selected post offices. from next year, Only priliminary exam ies expected to be conducted Online. Not yet officially declared.

Yes you can apply online for UpSC exams but as such till now there is no facility for online exams here. There forms are avialble in the month of october or afterwards

The syllabus of UPSc is very vast and it comprises of the graduation level syllabus.
To register for the exam you have to apply for it at the time when the registeration process starts after the announcement of the notice

Hey the exam is not online and neither can you send the form online.You can get the application from the Head/Central Post office of your respected city.

The cost of the application is just Rs 20 but if your a candidate from GEN/BC category then you have to pay RS 50 for the central stamp.

you can't give upsc exam online. to fill the upsc form,the forms are available on internet and post office. you can download upsc exam form.
