Application Procedure for NDA Entrance Exam

Candidates can make their choice between online and offline mail facility while applying for NDA Entrance Exam. There will be two stages for online application procedure i.e Part I and Part II. Candidates should enter relevant details in Part I while Photograph and Signature should be submitted in Part II. Those who choose offline procedure should purchase the application form by making cash payment and send the duly filled form to the concerned authority in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) by Speed/Registered post.

Online application procedure

Those who intend to submit online application for NDA Entrance Exam should visit the UPSC website and complete online registration process. Separate links will be given on the website for completing Part I and Part II registration process. Online application form will appear on clicking Part I link. Candidates should fill their personal details, examination centre and choice of exam in that. They can opt for army, air force, or navy while applying for the entrance exam.

After entering the details, they should set the online form in edit mode so as to verify it. They can make any updates in that mode, if needed. Unique registration ID will be generated after the candidate submits the same. It should be noted down by the candidates before moving onto the next stage.

To enter into Part II stage, candidates should click Part II link on the website. Then they will be prompted to enter their registration ID. After entering the appropriate registration ID, they can start the registration process for Part II stage. As a part of registration process, they should first enter the details of fee payment. Candidates should pay an amount of Rs. 50/- as application fee and it should be paid through net banking facility or credit/debit card. This step is not applicable for those who are exempted from fee payment.

In the second step, candidates should upload the scanned image (.jpg format) of their photograph and signature on the specified space. Minimum image size specified for photograph is 3 KB where as for signature it is 1 KB. Online registration process will be completed after clicking submit button as part of the second step.

Offline application procedure

Applicants should first of all procure the application form, information brochure and acknowledgement card from the specified UPSC post offices. For that, they have to pay an amount of Rs. 30/- in cash. They should enter each and every detail in the form as per the instructions given in the information brochure purchased along with the form. Recent photograph should be pasted in relevant space on the application form. Candidates should also put their signature on the form before submission. After that, they should fill the acknowledgement card and affix a stamp worth Rs. 6/- on it. Duly filled forms and acknowledgement card should be sent to The Secretary, UPSC.
