I will suggest you to take advice from the experienced one i.e., any teacher or any officer or simply coaching classes. search the sites which give detailed explanation about civil services. you can see the video's of Vishwas-Nagare patil on youtube also. Sure you can take up the civil service stream. But for this you will need to complete your graduation. Choose any stream that interests you. You can appear when you reach the final year of graduation if you are over 21 years old. There is no limit in the number of attempts but you cannot appear for this exam after you complete 30 years. Since its a highly competitive exam you should start preparing for this exam along with graduation studies.

IAS stand for Indian Administrative Service. It's is a very reputed post of government job.
Any one who completed graduation they can apply for IAS exam. so first of all you should complete your graduation. To become an IAS officer you will have to give civil service exam which is conduct every year by UPSC. for this exam you must have graduate degree in any stream from recognised university. Age should be minimum 21 and maximum 30 years for general categories. Relaxation for obc is 3 year and for sc/st is 5 year. In IAS exam only four attempts for general, for obc 7 attempts and no limit for sc/st. Fee for general candidate is Rs. 100 only. No fee for sc/st/pd. |
