can i join army in 11 standard in non medical...Please tell me if its possible to join

Yes you can join army but not to the officer's rank
the indian army organizes various recruitment in different states
you can get information of that through army recruitment board established in different states

No it is not possible to join while pursuing 11th standard. You need to complete your 12th standard atleast. After that you can appear for the NDA exam. This is provided your age is between 16 ½ years and 19 years. You can start preparations for this entrance exam right away.

After completion of your 12th with physics, chemistry, maths you can join in Army through NDA exam...

The eligibility criteria for NDA exam-

One must have complete the 12th with PCM..

One should have 60% marks in 12th..

The age criteria -
The candidates age should be in between 19-23years..

If you fulfill the criteria then you can apply for NDA exam..

But in 11th standard you are not eligible for Army..
So, first complete your 12th then you can apply for ARMY..

NDA - National Defense Academy and it is conducted by the UPSC every year to select your boys for the Indian Defense Systems.

Its one of the most prestigious exams in India.

The Eligibility for the NDA exams are as follows :

1. Only Unmarried Male Candidate are eligible to apply for this exam.


2. A candidate should have studied Maths and Physics as compulsory subject in class 12th to apply for the Indian Navy and Air Force wings.


3. Only 12th pass candidates who have secured atleast a minimum 50% aggregate in 12th boards are eligible to apply.


4. The age of the applicants should be within 16.5 to 19 years at the time of applying.


5. The candidate should be physically fit.


So as you can see, even though you are from the non medical stream, but since you are only in 11th and not passed your 12th HS, You are not eligible to apply for the NDA. And hence you cannot join Army.

However you can apply for the post of as sepoy, who have very low income and are to work more hard and get into a lower rank and grade.

Hi you can join Indian Army after the completion of 10+2 standard.
After 10+2, you can join Army byqualifying the NDA exam.
NDA is the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY.
This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
Eligibility for appearing in NDA-
1. The candidate must have the 10+2 in PCM from arecognized board.
2. The candidate must have minimum 50% marks in 10+2.
3. The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.
You can join Indian Army at the posts like clerk, soldier etc.
You can join Indian Army after graduation also by giving the CDS exam also.
