I am Jaspreet I have done matriculation with 75% from ICSE board and now doing diploma in Instrument technology. Is it possible for me to get a good job in Indian airforce after completing my diploma.

10+2 passouts students are eligible to join Indian Airforce by appearing in NDA (National Dfence Academy) examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and August. Advertisment in this respect would be published in Emplyoment News paper.

Minimum educatipnal qualification for this exam is to be 10+2 passout with any of the stream. But candidate having age in between 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of examination are only eligible for the examination.

Further graduates degree holders are elgble to join defence forces by appearing in CDS and SSC examination.

as i took admission through lattaral entry to a polytechnic in electronics and instrumentation engineering i.e. direct 2nd year and complete this during 2year , for this will be there any problem to get a job or there will be an extra oppertunities to get a job as i have vocational background ?

I took admission to a Govt. Polytechnic in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering branch through Lateral entry in 2 nd year directly. Hence, I want to know in which PSUs in India, I can apply for job, as I am a 2year Diploma holder instead of 3year duration ?
