Sir, I am 24 years old and I have completed till 10th - Matriculation only. I would like to join Indian Army. Could you please guide me on this? If I am eligible then how can I join Indian Army?

However, if you want to become technical soldier, clerk then the candidate should have minimum educational qualification of class 12.

The candidate has to appear in written and medical exam.

You cannot join Indian Army being a10th pass student at an age of 24 years, because the minimum qualification you require in order to be eligible for Indian Army is a 12th pass with PCM as your main subject also at this time.
Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19.5 years. So that you can appear in the NDA examination conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the examination.
Candidate must be Indian citizen.
Candidate must be physically fit.

Since, your academic qualification is 10th pass, so you can't apply for anyone of the NDA, CDS or TES 10+2 exam. Also, since your age is more than 19.5 years so you can't apply for NDA and TES 10+2 exam.

To join Indian Army, most of the candidates qualify these defence exams:

TES 10+2

• Academic qualification: 10+2 (PCM stream) with atleast 70% marks
• Age limit: 16.5 to 19.5 years

NDA

• Academic qualification: 10+2 (any stream)
• Age limit: 16.5 to 19.5 years

CDS

• Academic qualification: Graduation
• Age limit: 20 to 24 years
