It is to inform you that You can apply for NDA{National Defence Academy} Exam only after passing 12th standard.

-To join NDA, you will have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC{Union Public Service Commission of India}. NDA exam held twice in a year mostly as NDA I & NDA II exam.

-Only unmarried male candidates apply for this exam means girls are not allowed.

Through NDA you can go into following defense wings ->

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Indian Air Force





Eligibility conditions for NDA Exam:

• For Indian Army, You should have passed 12th standard in any stream from State board or recognized school.
  
• For Indian Navy & Air Force, You should have completed 12th with PCM(Physics, chemistry, Maths) subjects only.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.
  
• If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.
  
• You must be citizen of India.

Physical Requirements necessary for NDA

Exam Pattern& syllabus for NDA written test:

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

NDA-National defense academy , this exam gives a gateway to the Indian army . it is conducted by UPSC two times in an yr . .

There is no percentage limit for this exam.you just have to pass your 10+2 with PCM(physics,chemistry,maths)

If our subject is biology and math is good. if i pass the exam of nda then can i go in nda indian navy &airforce.

Yes, you can apply for Indian Army wing of NDA but not after 10th but after 12th Commerce.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for final 12th exam or passed from any stream from a recognised Central/State Board with good physical fitness, can apply for Indian Army wing of NDA.

Sorry to say that 10th standard are not applicable for NDA exam.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

If you fulfill with any one wings criteria,then you can appear for NDA exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam.
If you desire to join the Army wing of the NDA must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream. The certification must be from a recognized board or university. Those who aspire to join the Naval Wing and the Air Force must have a pass in class 12 in science.



Qualifying Examinations for NDA Entrance Exam

The selection of the candidates into the Air Force, Naval and Army wings of the NFA will be done through the NDA Examination. This exam will be carried out by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam will be held on 30th of December 2011.

Age Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam

If you are appearing for the NDA exam then you must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

Elgibility:

who are permanent citizens of India can apply for the NDA exam and whose family was a part of Bhutan, Nepal or a Tibetan refugee who had migrated to India prior to January 1st 1962 with the objective of residing permanently in India are also eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

Eligibility for the Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO for NDA Entrance Exam

Individuals who are citizens of foreign countries will not be considered eligible for writing the NDA entrance exam. However, NRI’s will be allowed to appear for the exam, if they have a valid Indian passport which proves their citizenship.

Scholarship program for NDA Entrance Exam

Several scholarships are made available for candidates by the Government of India to provide financial support to them. The Scholarships and Financial Assistance that are given as part of NDA program include :
Parashuram Bhau Patwardhan Scholarship –
Colonel Kendal Frank Memorial Scholarship –
Kaur Singh Memorial Scholarship –
In addition to that there are specific scholarships available for some states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Orissa and so on.
