Can I mention Intermediate qualified from NIOS Board for the purpose of Passport?


Hi, I have passed my Intermediate from NIOS Board. And, now I have to apply for Passport. So, can I mention NIOS Board in the Passport application form? Will they accept NIOS Board certificates for the purpose of Passport?

1. The full form of NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling. It is a recognized board of Indian government for secondary and senior secondary education.

2. NIOS certificates are valid for higher admission, passport and other verification purposes.

3. You can definitely mentioned that you qualified 12th from NIOS board for purpose of passport.
