I have passed 12th cbse exams with 50.5%marks in aggragate and only 45.6 in pcm. I want to give my 12th again .can i give from the same board and school?

Dear friend yes you can give again exam because this type of rule is available that,s you can give again this exam same board and same school............

you can also give improvement which is give only for that subject in which you have done low score ............

that,s why there is no need to give all subject again if you want to increase your marks then you give only that subject in which you have done low scoring............

because this is the best path for your increase the marks......

if in this exam you do better performance then previous marks your disappear and new marks is given to you........

It depends from state to state. In some states like Kerala there is a SAY exam. In this you can reappear for 2 papers. But you need to appear for it the next month of the result. After that you are not allowed to reappear. You cannot appear for all the exams.

yes you can appear again for 12th by performance Improvement Programme by surrendering your first result to your college, but you connot give your practical exams again...

Forms are available in june and january in your respective college....

yeah, you can re apply for the senior secondary exams, but the former marksheet of high school exams will be more dominating on the next one. Although via reappearing in exam you can compete for best percentage.

YES you can re appear for 12th exam for that particular subjects only. But

i think you can appear for only 3 or less than 3 subjects in the reappear exam.

And that exam is called improvement exam.

Yes, you are eligible for giving your 12th exam again. Some states are taking the exams after month after result came out.

i want to give 12th exam after 6 years i got 55.6% of marks in year 2006 from cbse board (kendriya vidyalaya)
now i am a engineering graduate.

I can understand you dilemma. You feel that the marks you managed to obtain in 12th board are not sufficient enough. The marks in 12th standard are very important not just to take admission for graduation course but at the time of applying for job as well.

Companies in various fields given weightage to the makes obtained in 12th standard while selecting the candidate. Therefore it is quite natural that you want to appear for 12th board again.

It is very much possible to do 12th standard again with the same subjects. However you even have a better option. Instead of doing the 12th again you should appear for the improvement exam.

The CBSE conducts the improvement exam where the student who has passed 12th standard is given the opportunity to appear for one or all the subjects of 12th standard again and try to improve his score.

You are allowed to appear only for the subjects that you have passed. You can not appear for subjects in which you have failed. It is possible to give exam for 1 or all 5 subjects.

However since you will be given a new marksheet it is better to appear for all 5 subjects. I will also recommend it to you since overall you haven't performed well in 12th instead of any particular subject.

The problem with appearing for one or two subjects is that since you will get another marksheet, it would be little odd to carry about 2 marksheet for the 12th board exams.

The forms for the Improvement Exams are released by CBSE in August or September. You can collect the form from some selective branches of the Syndicate Bank.

It is important to remember that you can only appear for Improvement Exam in the succeeding year and not 2-3 years after completing 12th. If you completed the 12th board this year (2013) then wait for the forms to be released in August and apply for the Improvement Exam.

You can not add or replace any subject in the Improvement Exam. You are only eligible to appear for same subjects in which you originally completed 12th standard.
