Yes, you can definitely pursue Chartered Accountancy course and Bachelors Degree Program in Commerce or any other discipline together. For both the programs, i.e. Chartered Accountancy course and Bachelors Degree program, one must have passed higher secondary examination from a recognized board.

For Chartered Accountancy course you will have to qualify Common Proficiency Test conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The test is conducted in the month of June and December every year. After qualifying the test, you will become eligible to move on to the next level known as Integrated Professional Competence Course which is followed by Articleship Training, Information Technology training and Final Course.

i am studying B.com 3rd semester i am thinking to write cpt in june 2013 and after qualifying in cpt i am thinking to do ipcc after completion of b.com. this method is right or wrong?

I have cleared IPCC-I. I have done OP and IT courses. And i am studing B.Com degree(regular) also. Now i want to start my articleship and i am facing a problem. According to articleship form 112, i cant do any other course regularly while doing artilceship. See, there is one month left for exams of B.Com. Can i start my articleship by taking one month leave ,will give exam in march and from next year onwards i will do B.Com as a private student????

Here you want to know that you want to do CA and BCom regular together, so i just tell you that it is possible to do CA and BCom together. I just tell you fact that 80 % students are Doing CA ,CS ,CMA with there graduation (B Com).

Because they are also separate there graduation and also coaching of CA.
