I am in Govt.Health Service for more than 15 years .I am now doing my MD In ANATOMY.What will be my future?

Either u got better chance in heslth services as well as in medicine.

after doing MD Anatomy one can join as lecturer in a private medical college. MD anatomy is in demand in both medical and also dental colleges.
you can either give GRE and go to US for MS/PHD or can do a MSc. in Embryology from UK. I know it also has good prospects.

1.as a professor in a medical college.

2.you can join in indian army.

3.you can do resarch oriented jobs in medical field.

4.you can do private practice in your own chember or private nursing home.

But, i think it is a oldest branch of medical practice. MD in Anatomy is a 3 year full time post graduation course which involves topics like-

Anatomical Terminology
Cellular Anatomy
Integumentary System
Skeleton
Muscular System
Nervous System
Brain & Cranial Nerves
Heart
Special Senses
Digestive System
Reproductive System
Urinary System
Respiratory System

But, In these days, anatomy of animals and plants are also coming up as a career path. So, the growth in these field are unlimited and after completing this course you will get good salary pacake.

hi, u cannot do mch neurosurgery...infact u cannot enter into medical field after md anatomy. all u can do is take up a teachin job..if ya comfortable with that then go ahead..

Anatomy is a basic science. A basic doctor should know the relevant anatomy before he start seeing patients. But the question is how much is relevant? How do (Msc) people who have no idea for what purpose anatomy is taught can train an MBBS student. How can a person who have never been in the army train a soldier? How can a person who have nevertravelled by air train a pilot? Sad fact is in many of the "reputed institutes" the Anatomy department is headed by Msc personnels. Future doctors!!! do protest aganist this, learn anatomy from somebody who knows for what purpose its being taught for. ALL THE BEST
