how is it possible to enter into army as a doctor after completing mbbs??

Army announced recruitment of doctors to their medical corp division from time to time. They conduct a test and interview. Keep a track of announcements in indianarmy.nic.in or employment newsletters for notifications by Indian army.

after completing your MBBS course you can apply for the medical hospital of defense and go for the experience,after performing well at the time of training period you can also apply for the post of doctors in the same hospital ........

Yes,its possible for you to do so,yet there is less chances in all india medical association, try at by army recruitment board
Eligibility is pass marks in mbbs.

You can look for the annoucement or articles in news paper whihc are published by the Indian Army.

Some test is conduced and then doctors are recurted after those tests.

Career oppurtunities I feel not really huge. If you have completed your MBBS and want a good career then just try and join a Good Hospital and gain exp.

You will definately have bright career.

this doesn,t mean that in army there is no scope. but there is very little scope.

dear friend, if you are a student of MBBS in AFMC, then it is very easy to enter in army as an MBBS.
& if you a student in other in other college then kindly see employement news for vacancies in army doctors.
In army there are so few seats for medical students in army, kindly be prepared for it.

you can fill the forms of various medical officer posts like doctor commandent.
you can join afmc,pune.

You can join Indian army after MBBS the procedure is only that you have to apply for the post at the time of the release of advertisement. then after the successful completion of interview and medical examination you will become a doctor in the military hospital.

all thing is possible.. if you want to join army as a medical officer..army announce many recruitments.. you can know about this via newspapers or internet sites.

There is bright carrier opportunities for who start his career from ARMY. You will following facilities:
1. All the defence facilities like canteen, Golf course, Allownces , medical benefits etc
2. You may be get a chance for a foreign trip as a doctor after some years of experience .

NO, there is no such seats in army.as Indian army full fills its need with the doctors of AFMC.

AFMC is the college which produce doctors for the army itself.

After completing MBBS ,there is very huge opportunity to join indian army.

Two times in a year there is advertisement in the national dailies for the

commissioned in the indian army as a doctor. you will face directly SSB and

there is no need of any written test.

you can get chance in army as a doctor after completing mbbs in two ways

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your Medical.

2.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your Medical course.

First thing you have to do after completing MBBS is , get yourself permanently registered with State Medical Council. (Make sure that you are pursuing the course from an institute recognized by the Medical Council .) Only then can you apply for any vacancies . There will be advertisements calling for MBBS Doctors either in news paper or on....

Keep track of announcements over there . There are incresed opportunities for students studying under AFMC . So if you belong there , ARMY will give a direct opening for joining the army .

You can join the Short Service Commission . Here eligibility include....

1. The applicant can be up to the age of 45 years and must acquire a medical certificate from a recognized university by the Medical council of India .
2. Candidates are obliged to be registered with any of the Indian state council or its equivalent .
3. Candidates must have a 10+2 with PCB with not less than 60% of marks .

In other cases you can also apply for vacant posts which will be advertised in the employment news for the army doctors post. Apart from all these , the main criterion a candidate must keep in mind is to possess a medical qualification and to have a permanent registration from any State Medical Council .

The army does not discriminate on the basis of caste(thankfully),for commission into army medical corps you need MBBS degree and should not have more than 2 attempts in any exam,Post Graduation is after 2 years of service but comes with service obligation of 20 years.Minimum commitment on commission is 5 years

As you have completed your MBBS,The Indian army calls up for medical doctor from time to time.You can join at that time.

By referring this you can go for interview and they will call you up for the ssb interview.

You want to be a part of army through ARmy doctor , after MBBS you should fill the application for the exam conducted by the defence unit
If you clear that you be apart of that..
