what is the career scope after doing B.A or B.SC psychology?

hi friend yeah there are many scopes if you do the higher studies in psychology.......its all related to human being psychological behaviours.......if you do higher studies you can be a psychologist, psychiatrist........you get a doctorate degree if you do psychology in phd...you can get jobs in govt hospitals............

Psychologist’s career areas range from health and social welfare occupations, such as Care Assistant and Assistant Psychologist, to commercial, professional and managerial jobs, such as Chartered Accountant and Marketing Manager. Graduates have also entered administration, information work, sales, teaching and the media. They can have Careers in Advisory Work,Counselling,Guidance, Occupational,PsychotherapyPersonnel, Training & Recruitment, Social and Speech Therapy.

Best career scope is to become a faculty.Then a psycology student can become a research scientist.

Yes Aditi there is lots of scope in phychology Psychologists are found everywhere these days ranging from schools to the hospitals etc.

They are paid very high as per their experience and qualification. If you could do a PHd in psychology then you can earn lakhs a year. So do worry about the scope. If you are really interested to serve the community then you must join.

Just a bachelor degree in psychology is not enough to fetch you a satisfied career.If you want to make a successfull career in psychology, you will need to cover up the entire degree i.e. BA in Psychology, then MA and then Phd.

After msc physics you have two options. They are you go to job. And after completing your msc physics you go for research and then do mphil and phd. After that you have a bright and great future.all the best

BA is just BA pass, its a general graduate degree, which entails studying some of the common Humanities subjects. So for total 3 years of graduation one studies a mixed bag of subjects like - Sociology, Psychology, History, Geography, Political Sc etc. The entry criteria to a BA pass course is not very difficult.

BA Hons, is an honorary degree, which one gets admission to only after meeting strict eligibility parameters. Also it is a specialized degree, i.e during 3 years of graduation, one only studies papers of the chosen honors field. Eg I am a Psychology Hons grad from Delhi University and all the papers I studied for my grad were Psychology papers (statistics in psychology, clinical psychology, research methods etc)

Needless to say it is much tougher to be considered for an honors course!
