CET stands for Common Entrance Test and it is conducted by different states in India for admission to various courses such as engineering, pharmacy, law, etc. Depending on which state you are applying for, the syllabus and exam pattern may vary.

For example, if you are applying for MHT CET 2023 (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test), then the syllabus is based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology topics from the Syllabus of State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra. 20% weightage is given to Class 11th syllabus and 80% weightage to Class 12th syllabus.

Some of the books that you can refer for MHT CET 2023 are:
  • NCERT textbooks for Class 11th and 12th
  • Marvel Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology by Mayur Mehta
  • Pradnya’s Objective Mathematics by C.S. Patil
  • Arihant’s Objective Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology by D.C. Pandey

You can also check the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra for more details about the exam dates, eligibility criteria, application process, etc.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
