I want to give BSNL JTO Exam this year.Please tell me that when this exam is carried out exactly? What i s the syllabus for this exam? And what Books can i refer?

BSNL notification mostly come in the month of feb and exam will be held in april/may.
But BSNL is now days looking for VRS(Voluntary Retirement) for the old employees which is delayed as per sources so BSNL JTO Recruitment 2011 plan is on HOLD or CANCELLED..

Mode of Selection:
The mode of selection is by an All India Competitive Examination. The exam will be of 3 hours duration with one

Question Paper containing the following 3 sections:-

For JTO (Telecom):

Section-I: Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions

For JTO (Electrical);

Section-I: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Awareness: 20 questions

For JTO (Civil):

Section-I: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions
