Yes, CMJ University , Shillong, Meghalaya is recognised and approved by University Grant Commission(UGC) u/s2(f) of UGC Act1956.

But this University is yet to be approved and recognised by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE)

I am happy to inform you that C.M.J university is approve by University grant commission(U.G.C).
It is not approve by A.I.C.T.E.
If you want to do technical course then I am sorry to say that you should try for other university because you will not got any job./

Let me guide you to the right way.
i gave my cmj university mark sheet n degree to apply for student visa amd they rejected me stating that this university is not UGC approved n this university is BLACK LISTED as people make fake documents under this university.

It's my humble request to all not to joing any course or degree under this university and you will also waste money like i did including wastage of time and your studies.
