After completion of 12th class you are eligible for so many entrance exams for higher studies as well as job opportunities. You have not specified your stream of education then if you are from Science Stream then regarding higher studies you may apply for :-

IIT JEE - Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination
AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination
VIT - Vellore Institute of Technology
BITS - Birla Institute of Technology & Science etc.

These are all entrance examinations for under graduate Engineering course

AIIMS - All Indian Institute of Medical Science Entrance Exam
AFMC - Air Force Medical College Entrance exam
and many other Medical entrance exam.

Regarding job opportunity one can apply for enytance exam like:-

NDA - National Defence Academy to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force
Bank Clerical Exam conducted by SBI nd IBPS
and many other state and Central Govt. entrance exams one can apply after 12th standard.

After passing Class 12th you can apply for the below Competitive Exams:

SBI BANK CLERKS exams:
12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass
Age should be between 18 and 28 years


SSC Combined 12th level exams:
Eligibilty is 12th Pass in any stream
Age should be between 18 to 27 years

In all the above exams OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

UPSC NDA exams:
12th pass for the Army wing
12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years

is it neccesary to give joint entrance examination for doing MCA & BCA in computer science ?

There are numbers of competitive exam which you can face for further study.But it all depends upon interest & subjects you have studied in 12th class whether it was your science,commerce or Arts.You can appear for any of the following competitions:-

# Various engineering competitions.

# Competitions for medical course study.

# C PT for CA

# competitions for admission in Agriculture graduation,Dairying,Horticulture,Fisheries etc.

# General graduation in science,Arts or commerce

# computer courses

There is no any course available free to do on internet.You can participate in Earn & learn program if you have time.
