Is it compulsory to qualify in each subject of NDA written examination?


Sir, is it compulsory to pass in each subject of NDA written examination like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Current Affairs? Would I be qualify the exam even if I failed in any one subject area? And, what is the qualifying marks in each subject and overall?

Yes, it is compulsory to qualify in each subject of NDA written examination.

NDA eligibility criteria:-

Education qualification:-
The candidates should have passed 12th with the subject of physics, chemistry and mathematics from a recognised board.

Age limit:-
Age limit is between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Nationality:-
Candidates must be citizen of India.

Marital status:-
Only unmarried male candidates can appear for the exam.

Physical fitness:-
Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for NDA exam.

NDA examination is conducted in two stages.

Stage I is written and Stage II is SSB.

Stage I is consists of two paper - Mathematics and General Ability.

It is compulsory to qualify in both Mathematics and General Ability for final selection.

It is not the requisite to qualify in each subject of General Ability. Question are not in topic wise or subject wise.
