Re: Is it compulsory to study Mathematics and Geography in High School to further study Aeronautics?
After (10+2) in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects, you can apply for B.E. (Aeronautical Engineering). Thus, Mathematics is compulsory, but Geography is not compulsory at (10+2) to pursue a course in Aeronautics. Admission to aeronautical engineering will be based on entrance exam JEE Main.
Career Prospects After Aeronautical Engineering, you will have employment opportunities in government as well as private aviation companies, Aerospace manufacturing and testing companies. Job Profiles - Mechanical Design Engineer - Thermal Design Engineer - Aerospace Designer Checker - Assistant Technical Officer - Assistant Aircraft Engineer - Aircraft Production Manager Specialization In Aeronautical Engineering - Aircraft Structures and Materials - Aerospace Propulsion - Transportation Systems - Aerodynamics and Fluid Dynamics - Structural Design and Engineering - Instrumentation and Communication - Navigation Guidance and Control Systems - Structural Analysis - Electronic Systems |
