Control system is one of the core subjects of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It has good weightage in university as well as in competitive examinations.

To be very frank, Control system by U.A Bakshi is good for scoring marks in university exams as it covers the whole syllabus of your university as well as previous years papers of university exams but if you are preparing for entrance examinations like Indian Engineering Services or Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering, this book is not sufficient.

From my point of view, you should refer for following books:

1. Linear Control system by B.S Manke.

2. Automatic Control System by B.C Kuo.

These both books will not only help you to score well in university exams but will give you good concepts for competitive exams too.
