I want to be a Journalist but I don't know which course to be taken for this. I have completed my Intermediate. So, which courses are available at Graduate level in Journalism?

You can pursue bachelor degree in Mass communication if you want to make your career in journalism.

The common eligiblility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in any stream.

The BA in Media and Communication course is the best course for journalism in India. The students wish to pursue the undergraduate degree course should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board. If you don't want to pursue bachelor's degree in journalism and Mass Communication then you can choose Bachelor's degree in English literature and keep journalism and mass communication in pass subjects.

Except this, there are so many short term courses now a days to become a journalist, but it is not as valuable as the prior ones.

If you want to start a career in journalism in India, you need to apply for internship programs offered by different Media Houses also.

Journalism is one if the most promising career at present . To pursue a career in journalism one must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board. To venture into journalism one must opt for a bachelors in mass communication i.e B.A .If you are already a graduate you can go for diploma in mass communication or post graduation in mass communication.
Nowadays freelancing has also grown in journalism there are a lot of people doing freelance article writing in magazines, web journalism, content writing and editing. there are a lot of websites that provide handsome salaries to freelance journalists

Bachelor degree in journalism after 12th standard .For post graduate degree courses, a Bachelor degree in journalism is required.Some institute also provide One year certificate courses in journalism.
