The BA in Media and Communication course is the best course for journalism in India. The students wish to pursue the undergraduate degree course should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board. Many institutes do have a certain marks limit (around 45-50%) for shortlisting the students for this course.

Hello !

You can study bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication after intermediate.

If you don't want to pursue bachelor's degree in journalism and Mass Communication then you can choose Bachelor's degree in English literature and keep journalism and mass communication in pass subjects.

Except this, there are so many short term courses now a days to become a journalist, but it is not as valuable as the prior ones.

If you want to start a career in journalism in India, you need to apply for internship programs offered by different Media Houses also.
