hai,im doing my B.SC(Computer Science) final year,i want to do bioinformatics ,in 12th my combination was physics,chemistry,biology and maths ,is it possible for me to take bioinformatics now...if its possible which course can i take in bioinformatics....
pls reply...

yes dear candidates from the science/ computer's back ground can do Post Graduation in bioinformatics and you can apply for applied bio informatics in any college having the course but remember some colleges do not provide this degree to candidates other than the science stream so check the eligibility of the college before applying in it,, bbye take care and good luck..

You can choose bioinformatics in b.sc. Medical, and in b.sc. Biotech, and even b.sc. Bioinformatics or b.tech bioinformatics

you can choose to give the entrance exam or you can simply choose above any field except b.tech bioinfo..... You can b.tech after only giving the entrance exam.......

Hi I'm studying Computer Science & Engineering and qould like to pursue a career in Bioinformatics in M.Tech. My question is, can I get through with GATE in Computer Science itself? Or should I opt for any other subject as my GATE subject? If so, which one? I wish to join IISc, Bangalore and they accept GATE scores, but I don't know if I can write GATE in Computer Science and get in for Bioinformatics over there..please help.
