i completed my bsc. chemistry degree in the year of 2004. now i want to continue my studies. please suggest some courses through distance education.some best course related to chemistry.

Candidate willing to pursue post graduate courses through distance mode may look to opt for Indira Gandhi National Open University-IGNOU. The University offers various courses and is recognized from all the required regulatory bodies including Distance Education Council - DEC and AICTE [MBA and MCA].

Graduates from Science stream [Chemistry] may look for a Masters degree. In order to pursue MSc in Chemistry from IGNOU candidate must have passed BSc in Chemistry from a recognized University. The duration of the program is 2 years.

One can also go for MBA program. In order to pursue MBA one must have completed the Bachelors degree program with a minimum of 50% marks [45% for reserved candidates] in any stream from a recognized University. Beside this one has to appear for an entrance exam [OPENMAT] which is conducted by IGNOU. The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT, and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.

Other courses include MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Graduates with 50% marks from any stream are eligible to apply. One can also look for PG diploma in Hospital Management.
