Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Since you are about to complete 12th you are only eligible for the CA course. For applying for the MBA course you will have to first complete graduation. On completing CA you will find opportunities mainly in the auditing and taxation area. So apply for the course if it interests you. If you are interested in administrative role then apply for MBA entrance exams during the final year of graduation.

So that you may apply for CA course after 12th board examination . CA :- Charted Accountant . It's an professional course . CA course is divided into foundation course , Intermediate course and Final course . If your interested to apply for this Examination then you should complete 12th board Examination or Bachelor degree from recognized university . Note :- If your qualified in Bachelor degree then you may eligible to apply for Intermediate course directly without apply for Foundation . You should also crack the CPT Common Proficiency Test . Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Of course, CA has lot of scope than MBA because this year itself about 2.5 lakh students are going to get admissions in MBA and after 3 years there might be minimum 1 lakh MBA freshers will be unemployed and therefore recession will take place for MBA graduates .
So there is a severe risk if you want to do MBA because you will complete it after 5-6 years. Therefore I will suggest you to do CA after 12 and make your career better. |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Hello friend,
Both CA and MBA are good for your career.First I tell about MBA.An MBA degree helps you in quickly climbing up the corporate ladder with a handsome salary package alongside a respectable designation. According to a recent survey, high performing successful MBAs are more likely to reach top management levels of Fortune 500 companies and other corporate areas. MBAs with specialized skills are commonly selected to lead start-up companies. It provide you with the cushion of switching your career. As well as CA also enhance a bright future. There are lots of accountants jobs available. You can work in almost any industry and any part of the country or world for that matter. The income is pretty good and there are many options of work structure available (i.e., part-time, full-time, self-employment, etc.).You can study for the CPA exam and quickly elevate yourself to an "expert" (using that term loosely). Most of the general public don't realize that being certified as a CPA means you passed an 18 hour exam and you got a certificate based on that--whether you actually use it by being licensed in "public" accounting is another thing. If you do choose public accounting, you can do taxes, audit, or consulting and have clients that you work with (individuals or business). All the Best. you have a better future. |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
dear friend,
My friend both the courses have bright future.. You can go for any of them.. Its totally depends upon your interest as both the courses are completely different from each other.. Chartered accountant course is related to commerce field.. And MBA course is related to management field. So, both are totally different course. But both the courses are job prospective.. Now you decide in which field you want to go.. All the best. |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Every1 is right in his opinion and honor that but i find 1 most important element missing in every1's view that, if one is very hard working than he should go for the CA other wise it will make you stuck at a place where one' will have no choice.
intelligence is not much important for CA it need tough time however, if you are inteligent and not hard worker go for MBA it will also polish your capabilities. CA is no doubt the best profession and reputed. |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Dear..
Both the courses that you have mentioned here are very good and please remember one thing that every course requires some qualification and also has some eligibility criteria. You said that you are going to clear 12th this year then you are not eligible for MBA as of now because the qualification is as follows :- 1. A candidate must be a graduate 2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university 3. 50% marks in case of General or OBC candidate 4. 45 % marks in case of SC/ST 5. No age limit 6. Students from any subject can do MBA. So as of now you are only eligible for CA. CA can be done after 12th also but it is tough course to opt for and hence if you are not comfortable then its better to do your graduation and then go for MBA as a master degree from a reputed college and by this you can even get good package then what an average CA earns. Hope it will clear your doubt Cheers...!!! |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Hello Friends.
CA stands for Chartered Accountant and MBA stands for Master of Business Administration you can do CA after 10+2 but for MBA you should have graduate degree in any discipline after there will be CAT for admission in MBA. As for the future concern CA and MBA both having good future for jobs in Govt sector as well as in private sector. As for the prestige MBA is better than CA. Good Luck |

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
You cannot compare a bee and a fly.bee's workhard to make honey,bt fly's just eat wat is available.even thou CA's make alot of money and prestige, the fact is that they invested more effort and toil .honestly speaking i hate CA's,because the work of being a number cruncher is grievous to me.All of it is meaningless.MBA is much better, cause you eat wat is available.it is not too much work but great satisfaction in your work.CA's become CFO's and MBA become CEO's and CEO's manage CFO's..My point is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work.oooooh damn i just forgot this 1thing-CA's dnt sleep ol their days is work, pain and grief;even at night their mind does not rest.this is stupid man-why deprive urcelf enjoyment? This guys love money but they never have enough money.this guys love wealth but they are never satisfied with their income..gents before you choose a career, choose the 1 u wil enjoy doing.

Re: Which courses will have a good future, CA or MBA?
Its not that CA is better than MBA or MBA is better than CA.
Both the courses will be having its own career scope and job opportunities for the candidates. If you are able to put your best efforts towards the completion of syllabus and having interest to join yourself as Auditor, then you can opt for CA course. You will be given excellent salaries soon after the completion of this course. But it is not so easy to complete the course, though you fail in one subject also again you need to appear for all the subjects. Hence I suggest you to opt for this course only when you are strong enough in your academics, You can complete this course in the following 3 phases CPT Exam IPCC CA Final In contrast to this, MBA will also be having good number of job opportunities in variety of business sectors like Banking sector Telecom sector Asset Management Companies IT sector FMCG sector Retail sector etc, You can do this course after completion of your Graduation by cracking the respective Entrance Exam, Instead you can also opt for Integrated MBA course with the duration of 5 years soon after completion of your 12th class. Choose the course that you are interested and make most out of it. Wish you all the best. |
