CPT syllabus and best way to study for it in shorter time length

What is the syllabus of CA CPT? I have completed 12th from Science stream with subject combination if Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Would I be able to cope up with CPT syllabus? How should I study in the best possible way to clear the CPT exam?

CA CPT is little bit tough to crack on first attempt, but not impossible. If you prepare well and follow some preparation tips, then you may cover the CA CPT syllabus in short period of time and can crack CA CPT on your first attempt. For qualifying CA CPT, you need to score at least 30% marks in each section and at least 50% marks of total marks in CA CPT.

CA CPT Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions : 200
- Total Marks : 200
- Exam is conducted into two sessions.
- Duration : 2 Hours for each session
- Each correct answer adds 1 mark and each incorrect answer deducts 0.25 mark.

Season 1
- Fundamentals of Accounting : 60 Questions
- Mercantile Laws : 40 Questions

Session 2
- General Economics : 50 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude : 50 Questions

Cracking Tips CA CPT in 1st Attempt
- When you register for CA CPT, you will get 4 text books (1 book for each). It's best source for preparation and don't need to read any additional book.
- You need to score at least 30% in all subjects. So, you should concentrate in all subjects.
- Make a study plan that cover all the subjects daily hour basis as well as weekly basis. Leave unnecessary activities, programme etc. and concentrate on your preparation.
- Join best coaching for better preparation.
- Start preparation one by one topic in any subject. After completion of each topic, Revise it again and understand clearly. Make a note from that topic and solve practice questions and previous asked questions from it.
- Practice is most important part of your preparation. Solve previous asked question papers. Attempt more and more mock tests. Analyze your position in preparation and improve your mistakes.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
