Cut-off marks for NDA exam

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and is conducted twice a year namely NDA-I and NDA-II.

It is difficult to predict cut-off marks as it keep changing every year but you have good chances if you can get 40% in all subject of NDA exam.

This year the cut-off is still not clear .Don't worry ,if you have done well then you will definitely get success so don't take tension and prepare for other exams .

You will receive notification through speed post or general post after getting success in this exam so don't think much about it.

It is difficult to predict the cutoff but generally its as low total as 240 ......But you should score above 240 marks to clear it.

** the cut off marks may change from year to year. Scores vary based on the number of applicants take the examination and the difficulty level.

--Based on last years Trend here is information regarding minimum number of question one should attempt to score good marks.....

subject-- geography
Minimum number of questions need to be correct for optional subject= 84-95
Minimum number of questions need to be correct for General Studies= 90+

Indian History --
for optional subject =95-98 questions
for general studies =95 questions

Mathematics --
for optional subject=68 questions
for general studies =95 questions

Political Science --
for optional subject =90+ questions
for general studies =95+ questions

Public Administration--
for optional subject =84-98 questions
for general studies =90 questions

Sociology--
for optional subject = 94-100 questions
for general studies = 95 questions

NDA does not revealed cutoff any year, but in my opinion if you score 60% in mathematics and 40% in general studies then your selection will be sure.

For Qualification of NDA Exam You must Correct at least of 40 Questions means 100 Marks in Mathematics out off 300 and 50 Questions Means 200 Marks you must Get 300 Minimum Marks to qualify NDA Exam.

The minimum cutoff of NDA exam is 40% so it mean that if you get more then 40%
then surely you will get selected for SSB and if you wil do good there then medical test
and if you wil clear it then you will become OFFICER

So it mean that in maths you should score at least 100 as it is of 300 marks and out of
600 you should score at least 240 marks

The full form of NDA is " National Defense Academy".
Officers are selected through NDA for all three forces.It is conducted twice a year.

It is not possible to predict the cut-off marks as it keeps on changing in every exam depending upon the number of candidates appearing.

Total 335 Candidates are selected in every entrance exam. So no one can say any thing about cut off list.

Candidates will receive result through post after getting success in this exam. so don't think much about it. If you have done well then sure you will get the call letter.

i hav ea doubt of cut off.as i was getting 400 above will i get the rank

Dear Friend,

There is no cutoff marks to appear for NDA exam. Minimim qualification is 10 plus 2. Thereafter you can give exam. This is conducted by UPSC. If you clear your exam then you will be called for interview (SSB).

If you clear your SSB then you will be selected based on performance in UPSC exam and SSB.

Final list will be displayed on UPSC website.

This cut off marks are for some restricted members.

Do not worry about cut off marks.
Here I'm giving you the criteria for NDA.If you have these criteria please start preparation.
