I am a sc candidate. I have qalified for assitant grade in ssc cgl 2010 for interview. But my total mark is 370 and the cut off mark for sc is 364,so can I get any post in asst grade ?there is any chance? Or shall I get any post like DA .AUDIT .or udc as a sc candidate

ya i think its favor of science graduate to introduce trigonometry and liner equation so we should think about it...coz even upsc is not going to test of trigonometric ability and i think its a violation of art 16 of constitution as science graduates will have a better chance to score more than commerce and arts...
please be united to take a change again in syllabus .....

1. Mathematics 100Q 200marks 2hrs
2. English 200Q 200marks 2hrs

I think it should be around 105 to qualify for general candidates or a bit less may be in prelim n 420 in written (Pre Mains) and about 30/40 marks in Viva (Total-450 ) will be enough to get a GP-4600/-post.....
prelim cut off 2010 - 115 (Gen)
Called for Viva - 424
last selection for GP-4600/-was 480 including Viva.. But last year there is no minus marking for wrong answers so I expect around 30/40 marks less for final selection.......

analysing the pattern of examination,
it is supposed to be 360-380

As the prelim cut off is so low just 86.75 for UR and 70.25 for OBC this year now I expect candidates who score 350 in TIER I & II will be called for VIVA.. about 420 including viva marks will provide a GP 4600/- post.. score of 450 in tier I II III will be more than enough for a GP 4600/- post for sure...
Those who are expecting 120 score in prelim has a very fair chance to grab a gp 4600/- post. They just need to score 250 in mains out of 400 marks. Its not really a big task. U just focus on your studies, avoid silly mistakes, thats all....
