Re: Cutoff rank required in EAMCET to get in top 10 engineering colleges?
There are many top colleges in Andhra Pradesh which offer standard education for the students. Some of them namely are:-
Andhra University Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(Kakinada,Hyderabad,Ananthapur) Osmania University CBIT Maharaja College of Engineering Bapatla College of Engineering Vignan Laura Institute of Technology SVU College of Engineering Vasavi college of engineering Its better that you prefer Universities first and then go for private Institutes like Maharaja,ANITS. Since EAMCET rank is awarded based on both IPE percentage and EAMCET marks hence you need to score well in both of them.As 25% of IPE marks will be considered along with 75% of EAMCET marks hence you need to score well in both the examinations. For SC/ST Category A score of around 90-100 marks in EAMCET along with 90% in IPE will definitely help you to get a seat in above mentioned Institute's and Universities. For BC/OBC Category A score of around 100-110 marks in EAMCET along with 90% in IPE will definitely help you to get a seat in above mentioned Institute's and Universities. For GEN Category A score of around 120 marks along with 95% will only help you to get a seat in above mentioned Institute's and Universities. |

Re: Cutoff rank required in EAMCET to get in top 10 engineering colleges?
Here i am providing you the list of some top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, East Godavari Osmania college of Engineering Andhra University Bapatla Engineering college CBIT (Chaitanya Bharati Instituter of Technology) Viganan Lara, Vadlamudi, Guntur. A candidate is going to be awarded EAMCET rank on the basis of his performance in both 10+2 and EAMCET exam. The percentage of consideration will be 25% on the basis of 10+2 marks and 75% EAMCET exam performance (Marks got) Remember that there is reservation for OBC and SC/ST candidates in the counselling while getting admission. So a candidate of General Category will have to be performed excellently in both 10+2 and EAMCET to place in these colleges. So a minimum of 130 marks in EAMCET and minimum of 92% or above shall be required for a candidate of General category to be placed in above mentioned colleges. While for the candidates of remaining category, a bit lesser of above mentioned criteria is also enough as they have reservation. |

hii,
To get seat in top ENGINEERING COLLEGES you should get top rank... the rank should be below 4000 to get in the top colleges. And depending on your caste also according to the reservation quota the rank might increase.. so reservation also plays a vital role during admission in a college |
