SIR-UGC Test for JRF & LS(NET), June 2011 was already Completed Successfully on 19/June/2011. So I think you have missed the chance in this time but please dont worry because you can also apply for CSIR NET Examination for December Examination, The Notification was not yet Declared, But when the notification was announced it will be updated in the official website, So please visit the CSIR NET website To get the Information regarding December CSIR NET Examination.

Age Eligiblity -

For JRF (NET) - Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years

For LS (NET) - Minimum 19 years and there is No upper age limit.

Educational Qualification Criteria -

M.Sc. or Equivalent degree in subjects like Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences with minimum 55% marks for general candidates and 50% marks for SC, ST candidates are eligible to apply for CSIR NET Examination.

some important dates of the CSIR NET exam is given as below

Date of Examination: third week of the month of June (generally the third Sunday), 2011

CSIR will conduct the NET exam twicw in a year. one notification in the month of february for which exam will be conducted in the month of june and if you are not qualified in this exam, again one more notification will be released in the month of August for which exam will be conducted in the month of December.
