PO stands for PROBATIONARY OFFICER. Many banks provides the job vacancies time to time according to their requirement with good salary.

[2]-ICICI BANK-

Last date of applying-31st January, 2013
The written exam will be held in the month of May-August.2013.

[3]-CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA-

Clerical recruitment 2013, 3196 vacancy for clerks.

Online registration-22 DECEMBER to 07 January 2013

Written exam will be held in different state on different dates.For the date of exam you can visit the official website of CBI bank www.centralbankofindia.co.in.

[4]-ALLAHABAD BANK-

Recruitment for 1100 clerks.

Bank PO Jobs are in hot demand these days.

The jobs in banking sector are lucarative for these 2 years. Similarly the competition for these job opportunities is also high.

One should be a graduate in order to be eligible to appear for PO Exam.

As per the changed criteria, from this academic year, one should have to score minimum 50% of marks in Graduation to be eligible for PO Exam.

The selection procedure for these jobs is by

Written Exam
Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Quantitative Aptitude
General Awareness
General English
Computer or Marketing Knowledge

There is negative marking for the wrong answer questions in the written exam which is 1/4th in the sense for every four wrong answers you commit, one mark from the actual marks you scored will be reduced.

So, you should be very careful while giving the answers.

In addition, you have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the sections of the written exam to get qualified in the written exam.

Here is the age criteria for the candidates to take this exam.

21-30 years of age for the candidates of General category
21-33 years of age for the candidates of OBC category
21-35 years of age for the candidates of SC or ST category.

As per the unofficial information, it is known that IBPS PO Exam notification is going to be released in the next month.

Haryana Gramin Bank

At present there is a Written Exam Notification for the Haryana Gramin Bank for the post of PO(Probationary Officers),you can apply for this exam.
Details of Job :-

• Total number of posts - 166.
• Grade pay - Rs 5600.
• Salary - Rs 28,900.

Important Dates :-

• Online Registration will start from - 11/06/2103.
• Last date to apply - 25/07/2013.

Eligibility requirement

Educational qualification :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university.
• Your bachelor degree should be at least of 3 years.

Age required :

• Your minimum age should be 20 years.
• Your age should not be above 28 years.

Marks :

• All category candidates should have a minimum marks of 60% in Graduation.

Exam Pattern :

The next Bank PO entrance exam will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS). It conducts the entrance exam on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks.

The exam is expected to take place some time in September while the notification will be released in August. These are the details available at the present regarding IBPS Bank PO entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The exam is for Indian citizens only.

2. Any under graduate degree is required.

3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in degree.

4. Diploma/degree in Computers or Computers/IT subject in 12th/college is required.

5. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for General candidates.

6. Age limit is relaxed to 31 years for OBC.

7. Further relaxation makes age limit 33 years for SC/ST.

8. There is 10 years relaxation in upper age for PWD.
