Is DDE Annamalai University's BA degree valid and acceptable for UPSC?


I am student from Kerala. I am currently studying BA History course from Annamalai University via Distance Education Department. Is it this degree eligible for applying and writing the UPSC or Civil Service examination?

Distance degree from any recognised university is valid all over India for any exam. Therefore distance degree from Annamalai University is also valid to attend UPSC or civili service or any state government exams.
