PCS is nothing but the Punjab Civil Service Examination.

The exam is conducted by the Punjab government.

The exam consists of Preliminary exam and Mains exam

In the Preliminary exam the questions are multiple choice questions and they are asked on the following:

General Studies

CSAT exam

Both the exams are for two hours each

Then in the mains exam there are going to be different sections:

Essay

English

Punjabi

General Studies

And you have to select two subjects from the below subjects which are optional:

Hindi

Punjabi

Sanskrit

Urdu
