Hello friend,
UGC conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lecturership and to endow Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). The examination is conducted in Humanities, Social Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. Now, examination in subjects such as Life Science, Physical Science, Chemical Science, Methematical Science and Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Science are jointly conducted by UGC and The Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR). JRF is provided to meritorious candidates who qualify NET, provided they have opted for it. For any other information, please refer to the official website of UGC. |

As all mentione three name have different meaning, NET National Eligibility Test CSIR council of scientific and industial research JRF jouiour research felloship As UGC conduct the NET to determine eligibilty for leadership and to endow JFR which provide is provided to meritorious candidates who qualify NET, provided they have opted for it. for any information read information broucher and visit its offical site. hi sir.....i went through the info regd the net and jrf...i am a bhutanese national having completed my graduation in delhi university and currently pursuing my master's in sociology....am i eligible for net n jrf despite the fact that UGC allows bhutanese national eligible for IFS examination...alok

as i last remember , the criteria was that the person should have total of 55% atleast in their masters level to be eligible to sit for their NET. but please refer to the official website for real info , instead of relying on websites like these.
