I want to pursue MBA. So, for that which are the different entrance exams available in India? When and how to apply for those exams? Can I have a brief about all those examinations?

Many MBA entrance exams are conducted nationwide for pursuing MBA programmes. Some of them are listed below here:

1. CAT - Common Admission Test

• Conducted by: IIM (Indian Institute of Management)
• Eligibility requirement: 50% in Graduation (For General candidates, 5% relaxation for reserved category candidates)
• Exam Syllabus: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
• Exam Fee: Rs.1800 (General), Rs.900 (Reserved)

2. MAT - Management Aptitude Test

• Conducted by: AIMA (All India Management Association)
• Eligibility requirement: Graduates can apply
• Exam Syllabus: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Indian & Global Environment
• Exam Fee: Rs.1400

3. XAT - Xavier Aptitude Test

• Conducted by: Xavier School Of Management
• Eligibility requirement: Graduates can apply
• Exam Syllabus: Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, GK, Essay Writing
• Exam Fee: Rs.1650

4. CMAT - Common Management Admission Test

• Conducted by: AICTE
• Eligibility requirement: 50% in Graduation (For General candidates, 5% relaxation for reserved category candidates)
• Exam Syllabus: Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques, Data Intrepretation, General Awareness
• Exam Fee: Rs.1400 (General), Rs.700 (Female and Reserved)
