What is the eligibility criteria for Food Inspector Officer?
I have completed B.Tech with specialization in Biotechnology. Having this am I eligible to apply for the post of Food Inspector Officer? If yes, then could you please update me about the application procedure as well?

Yes, as you have completed B.Tech in Biotechnology so you are eligible to become Food Inspector.
For this post, you need to apply for Food Inspector Exam conducted by State and Central Governments. One such exam is Punjab Food Inspector Exam that is conducted by Punjab State Government. As per exam pattern, you need to face following questions.

The educational qualifications required for the Food Inspector Officer exam:-
1) Candidates must have qualify their Graduation(B.Tech) degree in Biotechnology from any recognized university. 2) Age:- 18-38 years. 3) Age Relaxation:- 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for Physically Handicapped students. 4) Nationality:- Indian. |
