Is distance graduate degrees acceptable for banking entrance exams?
Hi, I have completed BBA via distance mode of education from Annamalai University and now wish to apply for different banking entrance examination like SBI PO, Clerk etc. Am I eligible?

The minimum academic qualification required for banking exams like Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common written exam for Probationary officer or clerk is bachelor's degree in any discipline in regular or distance mode from a recognized university.
If you have pursued bachelor's degree in distance mode then your university must be approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education council. You can apply if you meet above mentioned criteria. |

Distance graduation degrees are eligible for different banking job entrance exams like SBI Clerk, PO, IBPS Clerk, PO exam.
*The eligibility criteria states that candidate must have done degree in any stream from a recognized university. In case of distance degrees, a university is considered recognized if it is approved by UGC and Distance Education council. You can apply for exam after BBA from Annamalai university. |
