B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education.

The minimum academic qualification required for Bachelor of Education is that candidate should be graduate from a recognized university. Bachelor's degree is the basis for admission in B.Ed course.

Your master's degree in distance mode has nothing to do with eligibility criteria for B.Ed course. Bachelor's degree done in distance mode from a DEC approved university is applicable for B.Ed course.

=> B.Ed stands for Bachelor of education and the duration of this course is two years.

=> For this course candidate should have passed graduation from a recognized university.

=> The minimum percentage required in graduation to pursuing B.Ed course is 50%.

=> As per my knowledge, the distance Master degrees is valid for B.Ed course.

Any degree completed by distance mode of education is accepted. There is no any objection in mode of education.
To pursue B.Ed only graduation degree is important and Post Graduation degree is not important. But if you have then also it is accepted even after completed from distance mode.

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.

Eligibility criteria for B.Ed course:

1. Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

2. You should have minimum of 50% marks in bachelor's degree.

Admission in B.Ed course is based on academic qualification of graduation. Master's degree is not the academic basis for admission in B.Ed course.
