Does re-taking of 12th exam for one paper is allowed under WBCHSE or not?

My son passed with 70% marks in Higher Secondary board exam conducted by WBCHSE but failed in Physics. Can he reappear for exam once again for Physics subject only?

Yes, your son can reappear in Physics subject of WBCHSE Board, if your son has failed in it. Candidates who have failed in any subject can qualify it by appearing in the supplementary examinations. Your son has to visit the school where he pursued his 12th standard to apply for supplementary examinations.

As per the latest notification from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, supplementary exam of class 12th will start in few days. The compartment will be organised for such candidates who were failed in 1 or more than 1 subjects in the West Bengal Board Regular Exam and got supplementary mark sheet. Hence, the board of West Bengal is offering a second chance to failed students. They are also giving chance for improvement in marks. They will fill the application form for West Bengal Board recounting and rechecking process. Candidates can fill the application form for copy rechecking, recounting and supplementary. All the application will be filled online from the official website of the West Bengal Education Board which is as http://wbchse.nic.in
