As we come across that the pattern of iit-jeee is going to change from 2013..how will it be..

The suggested new pattern for iit jee is a mindless idea of Kapil Sibbal.It is because the 12th board examination is not taken in a fair way in every state specially in states like UP, Bihar. So 12th should not be given any priority.

The School Management of 12th Board exam will have the same power as the IIT JEE. The IIT JEE is conducted in fair process but in 12th Board exam out of 100 marks in each subject there are 20 marks in each subject which are in the hands of the board examiner. The chances of corruption are there as everybody will try to get full marks in viva by using money and power. Has anybody considered on this point. Thanks, Dharmpal Singh, [email protected]

sir,i thought in up board 70% marks are comman.In IIT how will they get a good rank with 40% of 12th

hey rupesh..... DONT WORRY ABOUT THE BOARDS...... most students preparing for IIT have a very wrong concept thet preparing for iit will lead to lowering of percentage in the board results....... IIT is nothing but an advanced form of the school syllabus..... so while preparing for IIT if u get ur concepts crystal clear and are able to solve the IIT level problems then the boards will become a childs play for you...... also if you think that the IITians score only 70% to 80% in their boards then you've got a wrong idea as 9 out of every 10 IITians score well over 90% in their final board exams........ remember dont get nervous..... if you prepare well for the IITs then you'll be able to get on with the boards automatically because IIT is a place for students that have clear concepts not for students that can only memorise their texts but fail to apply them........ all the best

am i fill the iit form in 2013 attaining the 61% marks in 12th board.

Hi friend...
From the year 2013,the pattern of IIT-JEE will change.
There will be a common entrance exam for:-
1.Indian Institute of Technology.
2.National Institute of Technology.
3.Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Moreover,the exam will be conducted in two stages:-
1.Prelims.
2.Mains.
A selected number of students who will qualify in Prelims will be allowed to appear in Mains exam.
While admission,weightage will be given to 12th board percentage also.
There will be another rule for appearing in IIT-JEE prelims from next year.
i.e,If the topper of any board like CBSE secured 99% in board exam,then all the students upto 20% less of that percentage will only be allowed to appear.So,in that case,CBSE students can appear only if they score more than 79%.
So,you will have to focus on your 12th exams also.

Yes you have heard right.the daily newspapers and the television channels have repeated this news throughout yesterday and even today.
A preli exam would be taken from where top listed candidates would be called for the 2nd level exam.

My dear friend it is not final yet that the IIT JEE pattern will change but yes there are discussions going on this topic. But one thing that i want to tell you is that it doesn't matter that if the IIT JEE pattern will change you should only concentrate on your studies and make your concepts sound. Yes, it did change. Recently the iit’s faculty had a meeting and they decided to compromise on the decision of kapil sibal’s idea. This is the official report.

According to that 50% weight age would be given to the +2 marks. And there will be prelims test on qualifying that the student will be allowed to appear for the main examination..
