i want 2 do economics honours.
but m having accounts,business,eco,p.ed.,english as my subjects.
i was having maths till 11th.
please tell me whether i can do eco honours.
is maths d compulsion 4 pursuing eco honours.

yes, math is compulsory for economics honours.

as there are many mathematical terms and formulas are present in economics subject. for understanding and solving it you have to know some mathematical tactics.

math is a compulsory subjects for pursuing economics honours.

yes friend maths is more important in the filed of eco. so you have not a maths subject so you have not elligible for eco honors.

yes maths is compulsary for eco hons in almost all colleges but still u can try it in distant learning colleges as IGNOU, Annamalai university

you can get your Honors degree with Economic . for ba main criteria you can pass 10+2 with any subject i.e from science ,commerce or arts .there is no compulsion of math in ba with Economic . optional subject is chosen by you i.e which optional subject you want to learn in your Economic Honors .

I am very sorry to say that you you cannot go for economics honours for under graduate course if you do not have mathematics at 10+2 level.the eligibility criteria is you should have maths with 50% marks in it at the 12th level.

sir , i have given 12th boards exams this year and i m from commerce stream without maths . I wanted to know that can i opt for eco honours in college or it will be difficult for me to study it bcoz i didn't had maths in class 12 th .
