Educational requirement for Assistant Section Officer post in Tamil Nadu?
Hi, I have completed my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Can I apply for TNPSC exam for the post of Assistant Section Officer in the Secretariat in Tamil Nadu? And, what is the pay scale of Assistant Section Officer?

To be eligible for post of Assistant Section Officer of TNPSC, candidates should have completed Bachelor's course in any discipline with Tamil/Hindi in anyone of the parts in Degree course.
Since, you have completed B.E. Mechanical, so you can apply for this post. Firstly, you will have to appear for Written Exam followed by Personal Interview. Payscale of Assistant Section Officer posts through TNPSC is in the scale of Rs.36,400 to Rs.1,15,700 per month. |
