I have completed my 60 months after GP ratings, I have pcm also but less than 60 %, so what is the eligibility for me for 2nd mate exam from India.

Eligibility for 2nd Mate from India:-

Candidate should be passed out in bachelor degree course in any discipline from any recognised University .

Documents :-

Original mark sheets of class 10th, 11th and graduation .
Passing certificate of class 10th
Character certificate of graduation
Transfer certificate of graduation.

Eligibility Requirements-

Minimum of 36 months of sea service on merchant ships in an acceptable deck capacity for e.g. Trainee OS, OS, AB, Bosun, Deck Cadet, Junior Officer, etc.

You also should have 6 months of documented bridge watch-keeping duties.

Eligibility for 2nd Mate from India:-

MAT is the only known exam which is held in India. It is a management exam conducted by AIMA for taking in admission in MBA course.

Eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are:-

Education qualification:-
You should be graduation passed out in any discipline.
Your degree should be from recognised University.

Documents required:

1. INDoS,CDC,Holder of Passport.

2. Sea time completion letter from company and SSTP Cadet Record Book.

3. Vaccination Certificate- 2nd Dose (Soft Copy).
