Eligibility to apply for RAS exam for a graduate with 43.44% marks?


Sir/Madam, I have scored very low percentage that is, 43.44% in my Graduation. I want to apply for RAS exam. So, my question is, with this percentage of marks, I am eligible to apply for this exam?

Yes, you are eligible to appear in the RAS examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and you have to qualify in all stages of examination for final recruitment.

The minimum required qualification is bachelor degree with qualifying marks. Examination is conducted in three stages and you have to qualify in all stages for final selection.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for RAS examination is mentioned below :-

--> You should have passed graduate degree in any discipline from a Government recognised university.

--> You should be in the age range of 21 to 40 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Eligibility to apply for RAS exam:-

The candidate should have passed graduation degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.

Final year students can also apply for RAS exam .

There is no requirement of minimum percentage in the graduation exam.

Age limit :-

The minimum age limit for the RAS exam is 21 years for all categories and maximum age limit is 40 years.

The government gives the age relaxation in upper limit of Age to various categories:-

For open category - 21 to 30 years, OBC category 21 to 33 years, SC / ST category 21 to 37 years.

Eligibility to apply for RAS exam:-


R.A.S in Rajasthan Administrative Service.

Rajasthan Administrative Service exam is conducted by R.P.S.C once in a year.

Educational qualification :-

Pass graduation with any stream from a recognised University .
Age limit:-

For Open Category - 21 to 30 years
For OBC category - 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST category - 21to 37 years

Number of attempts:-

For open Category -4 attempts
For SC/ST Category - 7 attempts.
