My name is NIJIN JOSE. I would like to become a loco pilot in indian railways. I have got certificates in 10th and 12th in physics and maths. I am graduate in b.com.
my question do i am eligible to apply for the post of locopilot?????

Eligibility to become a Loco Pilot n Indian Railways as given below.

-> You need to be a 10 pass out

-> You should have completed ITI in any disciple from a recognized university

-> If you have a diploma degree in mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics then also you can apply for this exam

-> Your age should between 18 to 30 years however there is age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates.

As per my knowledge according to your qualification, you are not eligible for loco Pilot in Indian railway.

No, you are not eligible for Loco Pilot exam.

Educational qualification:-

Eligible ITI departments are Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Mill Wright or Maintenance Mechanic/Mechanic Radio & TV/Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Wireman/Tractor Mechanic/Armature & Coil Winder/Mechanic Diesel/Heat Engine/Turner/Machinist/Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.

Eligible Diploma departments are Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.

Age criteria:-

Minimum age =20 years
Maximum age =30 years

I am studying B.E Automobile Engg currently. Am I eligible to apply for the post of a loco pilot once I pass out? Or should I study something in additional to this?

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for loco pilot post as because it needs a technical degree like ITI, fitter, electrician and many more.

You need a diploma degree in:-

Electrical

Mechanical

Electronics etc.

Age criteria:-

Candidate age must be not less than 20 years and not more than 30 years.

->Minimum qualifications for diploma in different trades.
1.Mechanical.
2.ECE (Electronic Communication Engineering).
3.EEE
or
-> SSC with ITI with a specialization in fitter, electrician .

No. You are not eligible for the post of local pilot in railways. Let me inform you that you that for loco pilot any technucal degree is needed like ITI, mechanical and many more. Then only you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria to become a loco pilot in Indian Railway:

Nationality: Candidate who are living in India can apply for the RRB Loco Pilot.

Age Limit: Candidate who ever wants to apply must be between 18 to 30 years. For OBC Candidate they have 3 years age relaxation and for SC/ST Candidate the age relaxation is 5 years.

Education Criteria:
1. Candidate who have certificate in Inter or 10+2 in Science or Physics or Maths and should pass in B.Sc 1st year with Physics as a stream is qualified for the Technical Signal Gr. II Post.
2. Candidate who have certificate in Matriculation with ITI Approved by NVCT / SCVT in Electrical Fitter / Electrician / IT / TV & Radio / Instrumentation / Computer Networking / Data Networking / Mechanical Diesel / or 10+2 Physics with Maths are eligible.

Selection Procedure:
1. Written Test
2. Document Verification
3. Medical Fitness Test

Eligibility to become a loco pilot is as follows :-

1. You have to be medically fit
2. Eye sight must be good
3. Minimum 10th pass with ITI/Polytechnic/Engineering

You are not eligible as you do not have any technical degree or diploma. Please get one and then try for the same as age limit is up to 32 years in Railway without reservations.

you can apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment if only you have ITI or diploma engineering degree.

The Indian railway is one of the largest recruiter and have largest number of employees. The Railway Recruitment Board has released the notifications for the recruitment of the 26502 assistant loco pilot and and technician posts.

The eligibility for the above posts are as follows:
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 10th class with ITI or diploma degree from the recognized university or institute.

Age limit: The candidates must be of the age limit of 18 to 28 Years old.

You must check the complete information from the official RRB Websites and apply as soon as soon as possible if you fulfill the eligibility criteria.

I have completed BCA computer application degree in ug and my age 19 but my dream is loco pilot ..after 12th finished then don't know to study in loco pilot related and any chance to get it.....then what i doo...please tell
